Registered Nutritionist, DipCNM, mBANT, rCNHC
Throughout my life, I’ve suffered from poor immune health, and bouts of anxiety and depression which, at times, have had a huge impact on my quality of life. Partnered with a heavy reliance on antibiotics and a lack of self-care I hit a turning point in my life in my 30s where I knew I needed to take better care of my health and my mind and I was seeking information about holistic solutions. Finding results through my research into nutrition inspired me to want to retrain as a Nutritional Therapist to help empower others with this knowledge to take control of their own health.
What I'm grateful for now is having the knowledge to look after my body and mind and address any imbalances when they arise. Becoming a mum added a new dimension to this as it brought a whole host of new physical and mental challenges; breastfeeding struggles, odd aches, and pains, new mum anxiety, plus sleep deprivation! But knowing what I needed to do to help keep myself (and my baby) nourished helped me get through this challenging life phase.
